CAMPAIGNING
SEBDA campaigns for better services for children and young people experiencing SEMH difficulties and better support for those who work with them.
We use our links with the DFE, NASEN, the Council for Disabled Children, ARC, The Mulberry Bush, ENSEC, Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition, Whole School SEND and other organisations to influence and inform policy nationally and internationally.
SEBDA is currently working with a number of organisations including Nurture UK, Engage in their Future, nasen, the Council for Disabled Children, Place2Be, Oxford 1/80, The Mulberry Bush, ARC and Young Minds.

Attachment Research Community – Call to Action
SEBDA is a signatory to the ARC’s (Attachment Research Community) campaign to raise awareness of Attachment and Trauma needs within schools across England.
The Call To Action is for a system wide redevelopment of policies and processes , academic support and training programmes, that will benefit our young people in both educational institutions and all social care environments; improving performance, mental health and wellbeing and to narrow attainment gaps.
